Laser Vein Therapy

Laser Vein Removal:
Vein disorders are a serious reality for many people. Everyone wants to look and feel their best, but vein disorders cause a lot of unnecessary aggravation and embarrassment. Laser vein removal is an easy solution to an ever-growing problem.
If you suffer from a vein disorder, but are hesitant about long, painful procedures, laser vein removal may be just what you're looking for. The origins of some vein disorders are still unknown, but it is thought that many are caused by heredity, excessive standing, weight gain, hormonal changes and even pregnancy.
Laser technology has become an important factor in the treatment of vascular deformities. Laser vein removal allows for the treatment of vein disorders using non-invasive, non-surgical technology. The most common vein disorders today are spider veins and varicose veins. These and other disorders, depending on severity, have been successfully treated using this laser treatment.

How It Works :
Brief light pulses are delivered to the vein through the skin's surface. They are absorbed by hemoglobin (the substance that gives blood the reddish, purple color) and converted into heat. This heat causes the walls of the vein to collapse which, in turn, stops the blood flow. Once this happens, the vein is slowly absorbed into the body, disappearing from sight.
Laser technology enables the doctor to collapse the veins without doing any damage to the outer layers of skin. The wavelength discharged through the pulse enables the light to reach the target veins under the skin while evading the outer skin entirely. The light pulses are delivered so quickly, there is not enough time for the skin to be damaged.

Will It Hurt?
When the laser is used, it produces a minor tingling feeling and causes the skin to become slightly red. This usually subsides after a few days. Cooling agents are in place in order to maximize comfort and protect the outer layers of the skin. A local anesthetic can be used if a patient finds the application of the laser too painful.

Risks:
There are a few minor risks that are sometimes associated with laser vein procedures.
slight discoloration of skin or pigment change

-allergic reaction to anesthetic
-insufficient removal of veins
-All of these risks are rare and completely treatable. Patients should confer with a physician in order to attain all the pertinent information.

What To Do After The Treatment:
This procedure results in rapid healing with minimal side effects. Some patients occasionally blister, experience temporary skin discoloration, bruising and/or reddening of the skin. These conditions usually subside anywhere between a few weeks and a few months.
After the procedure, for the first 48 hours, patients should avoid any strenuous activity, keep the treatment area moist with antibiotic cream and avoid any anti-inflammatory or aspirin related medications. Patients should also wear support hoes for at least three days. This will reduce any inflammation and build-up that might cause the legs to swell or cause the veins to return.
The most important thing to do after treatment is limit your exposure to the sun. All patients' skin will be very susceptible to sunlight. If patients do need to go outside for any reason, sunscreen should be worn at all times.

How Much Will It Cost?
Laser vein removal treatments usually start at about $200.00 and tend to go up from there. Treatments can last anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and are usually spaced about 3 to 6 weeks apart depending on the severity of the vein disorder.

What Results Can I Expect?
Laser vein treatment works by breaking up veins so that they can be dissolved and absorbed by the body. This does not happen immediately. Veins usually dissolve over the course of several weeks. If patients take all the necessary precautions following their treatments, a vein disorder free life is a real possibility.

Skin Tightening

Thermage:
Our skin consists of two layers, the outer layer (epidermis), and the inner layer (dermis). The main structural element of the dermis is a protein called collagen. This protein provides the skin its strength. As we get older, we tend to produce less collagen and this eventually leads to wrinkles, fine lines and bags in the skin.
Thermage is an innovative, non-invasive procedure that causes the existing collagen in the deeper layers of the skin to tighten, which leads to improved facial contours and healthier collagen. With its new radiofrequency technology, this technique is able to improve your appearance. Thermage is so revolutionary it tightens your skin and enhances the contours of your face by reshaping your skin's innermost structures. This leads to healthier, younger looking skin.

The Procedure:
The Thermage procedure uses a radiofrequency laser device that creates a controlled section of heating in the dermis and the deeper tissue of the face. The epidermis is constantly cooled by a cryogen spray in order to protect the outer layers of skin. Heating the collagen to specific temperatures creates a natural biological reaction that causes the collagen to contract and thicken. The result is the beginning of tighter, smoother skin.
In addition to the initial thickening of collagen, the body responds in another way to the heating of the deeper tissue in the face. When the body is wounded, its natural response is to heal the wound by creating new collagen. In the case of Thermage, this creation of new collagen works with the immediate tightening of the skin and adds on long term effects.

Will It Hurt?
Thermage is a non-invasive procedure so it requires no incisions and no recovery time. Some patients do experience mild redness of the skin directly after the procedure but it usually fades quickly. Patients might also experience some mild swelling. This usually subsides 2 to 3 days after the procedure, but some last longer. The longer the swelling persists, however, the better your results will be. Swelling only indicates that the collagen is still thickening.

What Are The Results?
The full effects of the Thermage treatment appear gradually. It can take 2 to 6 months for full results, although some patients do see them sooner. Full results have been known to last for up to 6 months, but recent studies have shown that some thermal collagen modifications have lasted up to several years, depending on the rate of the patients aging process. Thermage is the best non-invasive treatment for reducing the signs of aging and enhancing a more youthful appearance.

Photo Rejuvenation

Photo Rejuvenation:
Photo Rejuvenation or Laser Skin Rejuvenation is a revolutionary, non-invasive procedure that uses either lasers or light sources to help with several common skin problems that countless people face today. The most common skin ailments include acne, acne scarring, rosacea and facial redness. Skin rejuvenation results in the production of smoother, healthier looking skin. This procedure has become increasingly popular because it is quick, easy and does not require any patient down-time.

How It Works:
Photo Rejuvenation treatment uses either lasers or light based sources like to revitalize your skin from the inside out. This approach combines the laser light along with a cooling cryogen spray to give optimal results with minimal discomfort. The cryogen spray is applied to the skin in order to protect the outer layers while the laser light passes through and stimulates the deeper tissue cells.
Many skin ailments are the cause of a malfunction in the production of collagen within the deeper tissue cells of the skin. Photo rejuvenation stimulates the natural growth of healthy collagen within the skins cells. This procedure is especially effective because collagen growth continues even after the treatment is completed.
Rejuvenation technology is also able to rid the skin of unwanted pigments such as age spots and freckles by penetrating to the deeper layers of the skin with either laser light or pulsed light in order to break up the unwanted pigmentation. Once the pigment is broken apart is it absorbed into the skin, causing for healthy, pigment-free skin. Patients will see improvements in the months following the procedure.

Is It Painful?
This procedure is very advantageous because it is non-invasive and has very few negative effects. Photo rejuvenation is virtually painless, it may cause some patients to develop mild redness but it usually goes away within a few hours. This procedure is non-surgical and requires no down-time. No wounds are created therefore there is no need to take time for healing.

What Are The Results?
Patients may need several treatments in order to produce maximum results. Touch-up procedures are most often needed in order to continue the stimulation of natural collagen growth. Most require five to six photo rejuvenation treatments which can be given every three to four weeks. After a series of treatments, patients will see a serious reduction in skin redness caused by rosacea, a decrease in any unwanted scarring, age spots, freckles and other pigmentations of the skin including acne and acne scaring. Optimal results lead to smoother, healthier skin.

Added Bonus?
Today it is also becoming more common to combine photo rejuvenation with other non-invasive skin rejuvenation procedures. Botox, Thermage, Restylane and Microdermabrasion are a few of the procedures that can be enhanced by laser skin rejuvenation. These procedures reduce the common signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines. Rejuvenation combined with any one of these procedures will lead to smoother, younger, healthier looking skin.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion:
Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps to repair facial skin that has been over-exposed to the harsh elements we face on a daily basis. It helps with sun exposure, clogged pores, pigmentation irregularities, blackheads, stretch marks and can even reduce the early signs of aging and minor acne scaring. This technique is a non-invasive procedure which removes the surface layer of the skin thereby causing facial skin to appear younger, fresher and healthier.
How Does It Work?
During the procedure, the estitician will use a wand-like device that is brushed along the skin and, with the aid of suction, gently removes the surface layers of the epidermis. This process unclogs pores, removes dead skin cells and increases overall circulation. Microdermabrasion uses no lasers, acids or any other chemicals. It is a fast and easy way to help maintain beautiful skin.

Does It Hurt?
This is a non-invasive, non surgical procedure that involves little or no discomfort. Patients usually experience redness during the procedure which subsides shortly after the treatment. This procedure is quick and simple; it requires no anesthesia or any other numbing ailments. Microdermabrasion can even be used on the arms, hands and neck. This procedure is highly beneficial because it requires no down time. Patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately following the procedure.

What Are The Results?
Each treatment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Most patients require at least five treatments in order to achieve dramatic results. Procedures are usually performed every two weeks or so. Depending on a client's overall skin condition, the microdermabrasion procedure may have to be repeated several times in order to receive the best results.

Laser Cellulite

Laser Cellulite Removal
Unwanted cellulite is something that millions of Americans struggle with every day. More than 80% of women over the age of 20 deal with dimpled, 'orange peel' skin on their thighs, buttocks, stomachs and abs. While many methods currently on the market promote cellulite reduction, Laser Cellulite Removal is your best bet. The laser treatments work to break up the hardened connective tissue under the skin that causes the ‘cottage cheese’ appearance. A series of treatments can have you looking and feeling great.

While there are many variations of cellulite treatments currently on the market today, Laser Cellulite Removal is by far the best choice. The laser works to promote circulation and break up the hardened connective tissue so that it can be properly digested by the body. If you are concerned by the visible appearance of cellulite on your body, its time to do something about it!

The Best Cellulite Removal: Laser Cellulite Removal
If you've been struggling with the visible signs of cellulite, the time to take action is now. Laser Cellulite Removal is a revolutionary procedure that can help to greatly reduce the visible signs of cellulite on the body. Millions of Americans deal with unwanted cellulite every day. A series of laser treatments can drastically reduce the dimpled appearance on your thighs, buttocks, stomach and abs. If you are dealing with unwanted cellulite, its time to find out how easy it is to be cellulite free.
While 10 to 15 Laser Cellulite Removal treatments can help you to reduce unwanted cellulite, laser treatments are not a cure. Cellulite occurs when, due to lack of circulation, fat cells enlarge and become trapped in the deeper layers of skin tissue. The tissue becomes hardened and causes the skin to take on a dimpled appearance. The only way to truly reduce cellulite is by undergoing treatment in conjunction with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which means eating right and exercising daily. With the help of Laser Cellulite Removal, you can easily become cellulite free.

Porcudere of Laser Hair Removal Systems

What are Laser Hair Removal Systems and How Do they Work?

The lasers on the market today come in all shapes and sizes. Different lasers use different wavelengths of light; some utilize a cooling device and some do not. All laser systems emit a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed by the hair. The laser energy is then transformed into heat which disables the follicle. Today, individuals with white or dark/tan skin can utilize lasers to remove their unwanted hair with positive results. Lasers that utilize a cooling device will help provide the patient with increased comfort and protection by cooling the upper layers of skin. This cooling selectivity helps to protect the skin while effectively treating the unwanted hair.

How long will the procedure take?

The length of the procedure depends on the area being treated. An entire back can be done in 1 to 1 1/2 hours; underarms can be done in 1-2 minutes and an upper lip in less than 10 seconds. These are just a few examples. Here is a comparison of time between individual laser hair removal and electrolysis procedures:

How many treatments?

Every individual will need at least 3-6 laser treatments, but some might need up to 8 in order to maximize results. Skin tone, hair coloring and coarseness of hair are all contributing factors to how many treatments will be needed.

Is it safe?

Yes, the procedure is completely safe. After the procedure, patients may experience slight pink or red skin in the treated area. The color will most likely fade within a few minutes to a few hours, and in rare cases, a few days. When cold packs are used, the skin will return to normal much more quickly. The lasers utilize energy wavelengths of light that pass directly through the skin into the hair follicles. Lasers that do not pass through the skin leave residuals. For example, X-rays taken at the hospital leave a residual in the body. If too many are taken in a certain time period, the residuals can become a health risk. The lasers used for laser hair removal are passive, they leave no residuals; therefore, they are completely safe.

What does it feel like?
The feel of the laser on the skin has been described in many different ways. Some say it feels like a pinch on the skin and others say it feels cool or it feels like a mild rubber band snap. For those who feel discomfort, most clinics do provide mild anesthetics.

As Laser Hair Removal Popularity Rises, Prices Fall
Just a few years ago, laser hair removal procedures were very expensive but now, finding an affordable laser hair removal clinic is easier than you would think. As the number of laser hair removal centers grows, competition has driven the prices down from what they once were. In the late 1990's certain laser hair removal treatment prices reached as high as $3,000 but today, the same treatment can be done for half the cost.
The reason for this is simple. In the 1990's there were only a small number of manufacturers of laser hair removal equipment and only a few hundred clinics around the country offering the service. Now, there are more than 15 laser hair removal manufacturers and the industry continually grows larger everyday. Today, potential patients can find thousands of affordable laser hair removal clinics throughout the U.S.A. and Canada.

New Laser Used in Hair Removal for Darker Skin Types
The FDA recently approved a new long pulse ND: YAG laser. The YAG delivers energy more slowly to the target area, in order to give the epidermis more time to cool off. This is important for those with darker skin types, because there is less chance of skin pigmentation irregularity. Before the approval of this laser, those with darker skin types had a greater chance of pigment discoloration. To discover if laser hair removal is right for you, take our online consultation, or locate a clinic in your area that utilizes the long pulse ND: YAG laser.

Botox®

We may love our expression lines because they speak of our experiences, but sometimes they say too much. And if they’re making you look older and more tired than you feel, it may be time to express the real you with Botox®.
From celebrities to politicians to your next-door neighbor, more and more people are having their crow's feet, frown lines and furrows injected with Botox® to smooth them away. In fact, Botox® has rapidly become the most popular of all medically administered cosmetic procedures (surgical and nonsurgical combined), with over 3.8 million procedures performed in 2005 alone.
Want immediate results that creams and lotions can't deliver? Nothing compares with the often dramatic improvements from Botox®, especially for dynamic wrinkles—those that appear when you frown, smile or laugh. Because of its powerful ability to transform faces, there’s an art to Botox®. Administered by specially trained medical professionals, it can smooth lines and lift brows, creating an open, friendlier, more relaxed face with a result that is natural looking and still expressive.
Those suffering from excessive underarm perspiration (hyperhidrosis) will be relieved to learn the Botox® has been FDA-approved for the treatment of this condition, and is extremely effective in controlling perspiration in that area.

Dermal Fillers

Add another item to the "life's not fair" list: We work so hard at taking fat off of our bodies, yet the fat in our faces is key to a firm, youthful look. Thankfully, the new breed of wrinkle fillers is extremely effective at leveling the playing field.
Used to plump out smile lines, lips and moderate-to-deep skin creases, these gel-based products restore fullness to areas where collagen has been depleted. Unlike the standard tight, unnatural look of facelifts, this age-defying treatment is customized for each individual to add volume specifically where its needed, recreating the ample smoothness of youth.
Based on the same hyaluronic acid found in our bodies, Dermal Fillers like Restylane® and Radiesse® have been shown to last longer than fat and collagen injections by using the body's own moisture to maintain their shape. These fillers can be used to shape facial contours, smooth wrinkles or sculpt lips. The result is a longer-lasting, more youthful and fuller appearance.

FotoRenu™

Can you really undo the skin sins of the past? If too many beach days have left you with brown spots, red patches and broken capillaries, you'll see significant improvement with a series of FotoRenu™ Skin Rejuvenation treatments.
Harnessing the healing and corrective properties of light, this innovative new “lunchtime” laser treatment can reduce discoloration, age spots, sun damage and fine lines by boosting collagen production...all with minimal or no down time.
Thanks to its impressive results in treating excessive flushing, broken blood vessels and enlarged pores, it's quickly become a must-have for those suffering from rosacea. Typically performed on the face, neck, chest, back or hands, best results are seen with four or more treatments.

LaserLipo

LaserLipo™ combines liposuction, the most popular and effective fat-reduction surgery, with the newest, most advanced laser available to create a superior procedure that offers all the benefits of liposuction with no general anesthesia or stitches plus less bruising, discomfort and downtime. Best of all, LaserLipo™ improves skin elasticity so you don’t need to worry about the lax, sagging skin often associated with traditional liposuction.
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that contours the body by removing excess fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, chin, and neck. Because skin laxity and irregular skin contouring may occur with traditional lipo, LaserLipo™ employs a high-power laser during the liposuction procedure. This laser provides multiple benefits: As it heats the skin, it causes contraction of the collagen bundles and stimulates the skin to produce more collagen. This promotes tighter skin during the healing process and helps to ensure a more uniform, tighter, smoother look once all final healing has occurred. Additionally, its heating action liquefies fat in the treated area, allowing for easier fat removal with less bruising and discomfort. Finally, the laser’s heating action cauterizes many of the small blood vessels that run through the fat layers. This greatly decreases post-procedural bruising, and allows for faster healing so that you can return to your regular routine much faster than with non-laser assisted liposuction (often within 48 hours).
The best candidates for LaserLipo™ are those people who are close to normal weight. Because liposuction is not a weight reduction tool, it’s best for those who have isolated pockets of fat that do not respond well to diet or exercise. The amount of fat removed in a LaserLipo™ procedure is limited to a maximum of approximately 10 pounds.
LaserLipo™ may be performed on the upper arms, neck, chest, abdomen, flanks (love handles), back buttocks, hips, outer thighs and inner thighs.
Because the fat cells are removed forever, the results of LaserLipo™ are usually permanent with a sensible diet and exercise. If you gain a significant amount of weight, the remaining fat cells can enlarge and/or the fat is usually distributed to other areas of the body.

SmoothEffects™

Admit it: It only take three words to get you (an otherwise intelligent woman with impeccable taste) to pick up a tabloid… Stars With Cellulite (“all new photos” doesn’t hurt either!).
Why are we so fascinated with Nicolette’s thighs and Posh’s posterior? Because 90% of women have the these diet- and exercise-resistant bumps and dimples. And it’s nice to know that even Uma sees the same thing when she steps out of the shower.
Because cellulite is a result of how women are anatomically created, and is influenced by hormones, genetics (how does your mom look in shorts?) and the aging process that causes skin to thin and allow the bumps to be more visible, it is a chronic condition that is not curable, even through diet and exercise.
So what’s a girl to do? Introducing SmoothEffects™, a safe, non-invasive controlled heat therapy that smoothes, tightens and reduces cellulite for a firmer appearance. SmoothEffects™ is fast and easy, and requires no downtime from normal activities.
The result is smoother, firmer thighs and buttocks with further tightening and contouring improvements that appear gradually over a two to six month time period, as new collagen develops and toxins are removed. SmoothEffects™ is available to treat the most common areas of cellulite development: thighs (front, back & sides) and buttocks.
Oh, and P.S.—there’s a good reason why you never see male celebs (even Jack Black) in capture cottage-cheese moments: men aren’t anatomically built to develop cellulite (there they go, getting lucky again).
Here’s how it plays out: Underneath the epidermis and dermis exists three fat layers. Cellulite develops in the most superficial of these layers, known as the subcutaneous fat layer. This layer is structurally unique from the others because its fat lobes are organized into chambers by surrounding strands of fibrous connective tissue.
In a woman’s body, these fibrous bands are vertical, which allows for an abundant storage of fat plus causes the skin to be pulled inward toward the body’s interior. The fat that surrounds these fibers pushes up through the bands, which results in the puckering and bulging we identify as cellulite.
Men are rarely affected by cellulite because their connective tissue develops in a different, diagonal pattern, which not only stores smaller quantities of fat but blocks the fat from protruding.

MicrodermUltra™

Unless you're part of the born-lucky club (you know, the one percent of the population that's genetically blessed with flawless skin), you probably need a little help achieving that glowing, luminescent complexion of youth. That's because, as we age, our skin's cellular turnover slows—leaving behind a build-up of dead surface skin cells…and a dull, lackluster complexion.
MicrodermUltra™ provides vigorous exfoliation to get rid of dry flakes and surface impurities and reveal the smooth, fresh glowing skin beneath. Best performed regularly (monthly or more), this treatment helps soften facial expression lines, clarifies pores and improves uneven skin texture on areas including the face, chest, neck, back, arms and hands. With repeated treatments, you may also see improvement in the appearance of pores and superficial scars.
Don't be confused by the vast sea of Microdermabrasion options. No at-home system or spa scrub can provide the deep exfoliation and visible results of medical-grade MicrodermUltra™. Instead of granules, which can often be irritating, pore-clogging and less effective, Reveal's state-of-the-art treatment uses a crystal-free system to smooth and polish skin.

Reveal™ Peel

How do they do it? Those celebs and beauty insiders whose faces radiate with dewy, smooth, poreless skin. Airbrushing aside, these skin-savvy women understand that the right combination of chemistry, hydration and exfoliation can do amazing things to otherwise ordinary skin in a matter of minutes.
Chemical peels (also known as "lunchtime peels") are a quick way to gently rejuvenate skin and promote cellular turnover. And they're the perfect exfoliation alternative for those whose acne or broken capillaries make them poor candidates for MicrodermUltra™.
Reveal™ Peels are customized to address your skin's unique challenges, including excessive oil, superficial damage, acne, discoloration and even melasma. In less than an hour, you'll experience a fresh glow that lasts long after you've made it back to the office.

VeinRemedi™

Oh, what a wicked web they weave…those unsightly spider veins that creep up around our nose or bug us whenever we slip on a skirt.
It's finally safe to throw away the concealer and break out your short shorts because VeinRemedi™, Reveal's innovative combination of laser and light technologies, eliminates those annoying surface blood vessels and broken capillaries on the face, torso and legs.
Effective at treating wavy, thin, reddish-purple veins less than 3 mm in diameter, this non-surgical treatment targets your problem areas with heat and allows the body to safely collapse and absorb the vein.

FractionalRx™

Who doesn't love one-stop shopping? After all, when you can get everything you need to look fabulous at one place in one visit, it leaves you with plenty of time to show off your newfound goods. When it comes to aging skin, one-stop shopping doesn't get any better than the latest breakthrough technology that's the crème de la crème of nonsurgical skin solutions: FractionalRx™.
With a range of uses including improving wrinkles (like the deeper lines around the eyes and mouth), erasing sun damage and discoloration and correcting uneven skin tone and texture (including acne scarring), FractionalRx™ has become the go-to for achieving a smoother, more flawless complexion on the face, neck, chest and hands.
Unlike other resurfacing peels that required significant downtime, this age-defying treatment leaves you able to face the world immediately, with just the redness of a sunburn. Results are both immediate and progressive.

VISIA™ Complexion Analysis

A breakthrough in skin technology, VISIA™ scans the skin and record surface and subsurface conditions including wrinkles, spots (pigmentation), pores, evenness (color variation in the skin tone), porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores) and UV spots (characteristic of photodamage, typically from overexposure to sun).
Using multi-spectral digital analysis, the system enables Reveal's skincare professionals to design customized rejuvenation and skincare programs to more accurately and effectively address each client's complexion issues. The imaging system is then used to monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments and regimens over time, so that clients can actually track the changes in their skin by more than what they see in the mirror.

TummyTrim Abdominoplasty

The TummyTrim Abdominoplasty Program combines abdominoplasty (better known as a tummy tuck) with a customized series of ScarRepair and/or Resolve Stretch Mark Therapy to create the best results possible. Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the abdominal area. The abdomen is made flatter by removing excess skin and fat and often tightening the abdominal muscles.
The best candidate for TummyTrim is someone who, though in relatively good shape, has loose abdominal skin or a large fat deposit in the abdomen that does not respond to exercise and diet. In addition, women after pregnancy or patients who have experienced significant weight loss can particularly benefit from the procedure.
Surgery is performed using general anesthesia and typically takes between 2 and 3 hours, though these times can vary according to each patient's particular case.

Enhance Breast Augmentation

Enhance Breast Augmentation Program combines breast augmentation surgery with ScarRepair treatments to create the best and most natural results possible. Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to enlarge a woman's breasts. This procedure can help to make the breasts more proportionate to the rest of the body, it can even out breasts which are different in size or shape, and it can enlarge and reshape breasts which have lost their fullness or shape due to weight loss, pregnancy, breast feeding, or age. Breast augmentation can also be used for reconstructive purposes on patients who have undergone mastectomy or on those with a congenital breast deformity.
The best candidate for breast augmentation is a woman over the age of 18 who is unhappy with her breast size or shape and looking to alter their appearance. Patients must also be psychologically stable and physically healthy and have realistic expectations.
Enhance Breast Augmentation takes approximately one hour to complete and is performed using general anesthesia.

BrightEyes Blepharoplasty

The BrightEyes Program combines blepharoplasty, the most popular eyelid surgery available, with a post-operative Botox® brow lift to create the best results possible.
Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure designed to provide a more youthful appearance to the eyes. This is done by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. This procedure can also improve vision in cases where excess skin of the upper eyelids has drooped to such an extent that it interferes with the peripheral vision. As gravity pulls everything down with age, the eyebrows follow. And as the outer parts of the eyebrows droop, the skin of the upper eyelids will look saggy, as if you had developed extra skin that was not there several years before. Trimming this "extra" skin can improve that droopy look.
The other reason for "tired eyes" is because of droopy eyelid fat. This fat is held back by a thin wall of fibrous tissue called the orbital septum, which sags over time. The fat, held firmly back by this wall in youth, can bulge with age, giving you "baggy" upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid lifts trim this extra fat and tighten the wall, restoring a youthful contour. An additional post-surgical Botox® brow lift provides additional lifting, arching and shaping to the brow which creates an even more open and youthful look.

Reveal Face Lift

Reveal Face Lift, also known as rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that smoothes loose, sagging skin on the face and neck, tightens underlying tissues and muscles, and removes excess fat. Reveal Face Lift surgery can dramatically refresh and invigorate the lower two-thirds of the face. By removing excess fat and reshaping loose muscles and facial tissue, sagging in the cheeks and around the jaw is significantly reduced. Good candidates for Reveal Face Lift surgery are people in generally good health who wish to remove signs of aging — including sagging in the face and neck, facial wrinkles, and lines and creases on the forehead. The best candidates have facial skin that has started to sag but whose skin retains some elasticity. Additionally, a good candidate will have strong, well-defined bone structure. In determining whether a face lift is right for you, age is not necessarily the most important factor. Most Reveal Face Lift candidates are between 40 and 70 years old. However, the procedure can effectively enhance the appearance of people over 70, and some opt for the procedure in their twenties and thirties, often as a means of correcting hereditary conditions. In general, the condition of your skin and the features you would like to improve are more important considerations than your age. Reveal Face Lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia and is completed in approximately 4 hours, though surgical times may vary.

Reveal Brow Lift

Reveal Brow Lift surgery, also referred to as a forehead or eyebrow lift, allows patients to achieve a younger, more refreshed look by smoothing the forehead, reducing frown lines, and elevating the position of the eyebrow line to "open up the eyes".
This is accomplished by weakening the forehead muscles, removing excess skin that has lost its elasticity with age and lifting the skin to elevate and reposition brows.
Surgery is performed using general anesthesia and typically lasts 2 hours. The best candidates are healthy adults who are seeking to improve droopy eyebrows and deeper, heavier wrinkles in the forehead.

Reveal Neck Lift

Reveal Neck Lift surgery, or platysmaplasty, removes excess skin and fatty tissue from the neck and tightens neck muscles to redefine the jaw line and create a younger, firmer looking facial appearance. Reveal Neck Lift may be enhanced with liposuction and Botox®.
Good candidates for Reveal Neck Lift surgery include people with sagging neck skin or neck folds. The procedure is most effective for patients whose skin still has some elasticity, usually those in their forties to sixties; however, neck lifts can also be performed on patients in their seventies and eighties. Reveal Neck Lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 hour to complete.

New York Crane Accident Attorneys

Our New York crane accident injury attorneys have extensive experience in all types of New York construction site accidents. We handle a variety of construction accident cases, including crane accidents, elevator and scaffold accidents, which involve injuries such as spinal cord and back injuries, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, traumatic brain injuries, paraplegia, quadriplegia and paralysis.
Every year many crane operators are killed or seriously injured on the job. This occurs even though many state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards, require owners, general contractors and sub-contractors to implement a wide variety of safety measures.
Although workers' compensation benefits aide employees while injured on the job, they are usually not sufficient to fully compensate injured workers for all damages sustained as a result of their work-related accident.
Under New York State Law, employees cannot sue their employers for damages sustained as a result of a work-related accident. In order to receive reasonable compensation for their injuries, workers must commence lawsuits against parties other than their employer, such as property owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and equipment manufactures who may be held responsible when a construction site accident occurs. In addition to workers' compensation benefits, additional damages that can be recovered in these lawsuits include pain and suffering, additional wage loss benefits, additional medical benefits and loss of services for the spouse.
The majority of crane related accidents involved mobile cranes and many "non-crane" workers have also suffered serious injuries. These non-crane operators include occupations such as mechanics, oil workers, ironworkers, rigger, and stevedores.
Statistics point to crane instability, lack of communication and lack of training as the three most common reasons for crane related accident injuries and deaths.
If you or a loved one have been involved in a crane accident in New York, the New York job injury attorneys at Wingate, Russotti & Shapiro, L.L.P., would like to meet with you. Please call our office at 212-986-7353 to set up an appointment to discuss your case.

New York Falling Object Injury Lawyers

Construction sites are by nature dangerous, but there are certain factors that increase that inherent hazard. One of the leading causes of construction-related deaths is being struck by objects. About 75 percent of struck-by fatalities involve heavy equipment used in construction work such as trucks or cranes. According to Department of Labor statistics, the number of workers fatally struck by a vehicle was at a seven-year high in 1998.
There are many different ways by which these types of accidents can occur:
Struck by vehicles: It is absolutely important for construction workers or contractors to observe basic vehicle safety practices at their work sites. Sadly, these safety measures are not taken seriously all the time, and tragically workers sometimes pay for it with their lives. When rules are not observed workers risk being pinned between construction vehicles and walls, struck by swinging backhoes, crushed beneath overturned vehicles or similar accidents. Construction workers who are on the job near highways or busy streets risk being struck by passing vehicles as well.
Falling or flying objects: When workers are standing or working beneath cranes or scaffolds, they risk being hit by falling objects. There is also danger from flying objects when activities such as pushing, pulling, drilling, prying or the use of power tools cause objects to become airborne. Injuries can range from minor cuts to concussions, blindness or death. Such injuries may be prevented or minimized by using safety equipment such as hard hats and storing and using equipment appropriately.
Constructing walls: Building concrete or masonry walls could be hazardous because of tremendous loads that need to be supported. There is the danger of major accidents or even death when lifting equipment is used to position heavy slabs and walls.
These types of injuries could be catastrophic or even fatal because of the heavy machinery, materials and equipment that are almost always used in construction work. The debilitating nature of the injuries often lead to permanent injuries that can keep you away from work for the rest of your life.

New York Electrocution Injury Attorneys

Every year thousands of workers are killed or seriously injured because of faulty or defective electrical wiring or employer negligence. Many workers have been seriously injured or killed by electrocution. Coming into contact with power lines, exposed electrical sources, and so on may result from an employer's negligence. In addition to work related injuries, consumers who have purchased defective products that result in electrocution also represent a vast number of victims.
Workers' Compensation laws are designed to ensure that employees who are injured or disabled on the job are compensated for their monetary losses. These laws also provide benefits for dependents of those workers who are killed because of work-related accidents.
Although workers' compensation benefits aide employees while injured on the job, they are usually not sufficient to fully compensate injured workers for all damages sustained as a result of their work-related accident.
Consumers who have been electrocuted as a result of a defective product have the right to file a claim against the manufacturer of the product to recover their damages including medical expenses, loss of current and future earnings, loss of enjoyment and pain and suffering.
If you or a loved one has been electrocuted in a work place accident or by using a defective product, the New York electrocution injury lawyers at Wingate, Russotti & Shapiro, L.L.P., would like to meet with you. Please call our office at 212-986-7353 to set up an appointment to discuss your case.

New York Forklift Accident Attorneys

Forklifts are powered industrial trucks that are widely used in construction jobs because they achieve tasks that no one worker can do by himself. These vehicles save contractors and construction companies a lot of labor and man-hours. But when a forklift is used without proper care and caution, it could cause injuries to the operator or other workers and sometimes lead to tragic deaths.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration estimates that thousands of workers die each year in the United States as a result of forklift accidents – be it in construction accidents or in an industrial or factory setting. Some of the most common ways by which these accidents occur include when workers are run over by a passing lift truck; when forklift operators fall off their truck and are crushed or run over by it; or in back-up accidents when the operator fails to spot another worker on the site or on a loading dock.
These types of accidents often result in deaths because of the sheer weight of the equipment. The most common cause of forklift accidents remains the negligence of employees. Many victims in forklift accidents would still be alive had their employers provided them with the required training and supervision necessary in a properly run work-site.
According to OSHA, an estimated one million powered industrial trucks are used in workplaces across the country. The training standard for forklifts makes it mandatory for employers to ensure that each forklift operator is competent to run such a truck safely and completes a training program and evaluation successfully. Adhering to these safety standards can not only save employers $135 million in costs associated with forklift accidents, but more importantly saves lives and prevent catastrophic injuries.
Many New York forklift accidents occur because of overloading. Often times, employers are eager to increase efficiency and encourage workers to pile on excess loads. But this is not a safe practice and can cause a forklift to tip over. In some other cases, workers are crushed when forklifts are overloaded and heavy materials fall as a result. In fact, about 25 percent of forklift accidents occur because the lifts tip over. Defective machines or mechanical malfunctions because of improper maintenance can also sometimes lead to accidents.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a forklift or construction accident, you need an experienced New York personal injury attorney fighting for your rights. You may be entitled to compensation and damages, especially if you were injured by someone else’s negligence or if your employer failed to provide adequate training. Call Wingate, Russotti and Shapiro to schedule your free consultation.

New York Construction Fall Accident Lawyers

Some of the most serious construction accidents involve workers who either slip and fall during work or fall off a scaffold. These types of falls cause major injuries to construction workers. In fact, these are the types of injuries that most often result in death. Even when the worker survives, there are many tough challenges he or she is faced with such as costly medical bills, an uphill recovery battle and the loss of income during that results from missed work. Sometimes, you could even be left with a permanent disability - unable to work for the rest of your life.
How does it occur?
Fall injuries happen for a variety of reasons. The most common types of construction falls occur when a worker falls of a weak scaffold or malfunctioning equipment, falls off a ladder, slips and falls or falls after being hit by another falling object. Whatever the causes, the injuries can be devastating. The worker could suffer catastrophic injuries or broken bones. He or she could suffer brain injuries or even death as a result of the fall.
The Department of Labor and Occupational Safety and Health Administration have stringent rules for the construction industry. These accidents are entirely preventable. The following hazards cause the most fall-related injuries:
Unprotected sides, wall opening and floor holes: These are found almost in any construction site, but the key is to use the appropriate guardrail, safety net and fall arrest systems, especially when workers are doing their jobs at a height of 6 feet or more.
Improper scaffold construction: All scaffolds must be constructed according to manufacturers instructions. Again installing appropriate guardrail systems and fall arrest systems will go a long way to protect workers
Unguarded protruding steel rebars: These iron bars, which are a common sight in any work site, should be bent over or protected with caps so a worker cannot be impaled by falling on them
Improper use of portable ladders: Falls from ladders can cause injuries ranging from sprains to deaths. The risk of falling off portable ladders increases if ladders are not positioned safely or if they are placed on an uneven surface.
If you or a loved one has been injured a construction fall accident, it would be in your best interest to retain a New York personal injury law firm with experienced New York construction accident attorneys to represent you and help protect your rights. In some cases, where the employer or contractors negligence is apparent, you may be entitled to significant compensation. Call Wingate, Russotti and Shapiro today for a free consultation.

New York Construction Accident Attorneys

In the United States construction is a very large industry. It is also a high risk industry. It ranks third in the rate of injury caused deaths, following mining and agriculture. For every 100,000 workers 15 die due to injury. Some construction site hazards that result in death or serious injury are:
Scaffolding Accidents
Workers Falling from Elevated Heights
Forklift Injuries
Electrocution
Machinery Accidents
Workers Struck by Falling Objects
Crane Accidents
No matter how stringent the safety standards are regarding construction, all construction laborers are at risk every day while on the job. New York State law prohibits employees from suing their employers for on the job accidents. Contractors, architects, manufacturers and property owners may be held liable for injuries or wrongful deaths that take place at the construction site.
Workers' compensation does benefit the injured, but it does not sufficiently compensate employees who have been hurt on the job. New York Personal Injury Attorneys

Personal injury law is the area of the law that holds people or organizations responsible for the harm they cause to others. Using New York's personal injury laws, victims of some type of injury -- physical, financial, emotional or cognitive -- may sue the people responsible for their injuries. These lawsuits generally seek to recover the costs victims had to pay because of the accident, which can include medical bills, missed work, funeral bills and more. They usually also seek to recover compensation for damages that are harder to put a dollar amount on, such as financial compensation for a lifelong disability created by an accident or the loss of a deceased family member's care and love. In extreme cases, victims may also be able to recover punitive damages, which seek to punish wrongdoers for deliberate or egregious violations of the law.
Personal injury lawsuits often, but not always, arise out of avoidable or foreseeable accidents. Some come from deliberate actions by another that violate the law. And a few come from "strict liability," a legal concept saying that a wrongdoer is legally responsible for harm regardless of the circumstances. Typical subjects for personal-injury lawsuits include:
Car, truck and motorcycle accidents
Workplace injuries
Wrongful death
Brain injuries
Insurers not paying a legitimate claim (insurance bad faith)
Violent crimes at a place without enough security (negligent security)
Construction accidents
Medical malpractice, including birth injuries
Prescription drug injuries
Defective consumer products or tainted foods
Slips and falls at a public place, like a store (premises liability)
If you're a victim of a personal injury in New York, we strongly advise you to speak with a NY personal injury attorney as soon as you can. In most cases, New York law gives victims three years to file a lawsuit. In some cases, the limit, called the statute of limitations, is just one year. After that time is up, you simply can't sue, regardless of how good your case may be. In addition, victims of accidents involving large companies or insurance companies are often subjected to aggressive settlement offers designed to save the company money without compensating victims fully for their injuries. An experienced New York personal injury lawyer can give you complete information about your rights, evaluate your claim with an experienced eye and significantly increase the amount of compensation you would otherwise receive.
